Samsung Printing Solutions over the past year and early on in 2016 has won several prestigious awards that accentuate our efforts in providing the best products and services available. Most recently, Samsung Printing Solutions was acknowledged by Buyers Laboratory (BLI) as having the best monochrome printer/MFP of the year. Additionally, Samsung was recognized by Industry Analysts as having the “ultimate printer” for printing over 1 million pages in two months, was named as the ‘Best Printer Brand 2015’ by Which? Samsung Monochrome Line Wins BLI Award for Reliability, Innovation and the “Green” Factor
BLI has stated that based on the collective strength of Samsung’s monochrome printer products, Samsung has won BLI’s Monochrome Printer/MFP Line of the Year award for the fourth time since 2012. According to BLI, consumers who purchase Samsung printers do not need to worry about reliability, as BLI’s testing has proven without a doubt that business users can rely on Samsung for the most reliable option. Samsung’s monochrome series deliver high-performance at affordable costs, and include built-in eco-friendly features such as toner-saver mode, automatic duplexing and Easy Eco Driver, that are easier on the environment and help to reduce printings costs.
“It’s a great honor to be recognized as the leading provider of printing solutions that help create a more productive and efficient work environment,” said Sungwon Song, Senior Vice President of Printing Solutions Business at Samsung Electronics. “Samsung is totally focused on offering printing solutions which are optimized for the smart office environment. It is hugely rewarding to see the key strengths of our monochrome printers and MFP lines once again independently confirmed by BLI.”
Samsung also won two more BLI 2016 Pick Awards, which are announced twice annually – in winter and summer, including the ‘Outstanding A4 printer for Small Workgroups’ Winner Pick Award, along with the ‘Outstanding A4 Printer for Large Workgroups’ Winner Pick Award.
Samsung Printing Solutions Named As a Major Player in IDC Report
Samsung Electronics has recently been recognized by the global market intelligence organization IDC, as a major player in its MarketScape report on the managed print and document service (MPDS)
“IDC’s recognition of Samsung Printing Solutions affirms our ongoing commitment to help organizations boost business efficiency by improving how they digitize paper and manage their printing,” said Paul Birkett, Director of Print Operation Sales and Marketing of Samsung Europe. “In the newest areas of mobile-first, cloud-first printing, Samsung is helping clients connect to the information they need, by merging mobile and printing technology in its SmartUX platform. This uses standard mobile apps to reduce repetitive or wasteful tasks through advanced machine-to-machine communication.”
The Ultimate Printer Reliability Test: 1 Million Pages
Among the claims and statistics that often accompany many multifunction printer brochures, reliability is seldom seen among the listed information. How can you define reliability numerically? Industry Analysts’ Andy Slawetsky, a leading analyst in the print industry is putting five of Samsung’s multifunction printers through the ultimate test. According to Samsung’s Insights, he is printing/copying a million pages, and scanning a million pages on them in a few months’ time to see if they are truly as reliable as advertised. (Slawetsky notes the testing has been conducted in an environmentally conscious way by reusing paper multiple times. Tens of thousands of pages from the test were donated to a local school for reuse and the rest was recycled.)
Samsung Insights notes that Slawetsky’s million-page printer reliability test focuses on five multifunction devices that are built for enterprise environments as well as for small- to medium business: the MultiXpress K7600GX/X7600GX (mono and color), the MultiXpress M5370LX, the MultiXpress X4300LX, and the ProXpress M4580FX. Testing on the MultiXpress K7600GX, Samsung’s highest specification monochrome MFP, is already complete. The results: what the specifications promised, and much more.
Samsung Laser Printers Win Which? Awards 2015

Based on the responses from 10,497 Which? members, Samsung laser printers received the highest reliability score with the lowest number of defects during 6 years of ownership.
